STANDING UPON THE WATCH HABAKKUK 2:1
Greetings of Supernatural manifestation in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is not only a covenant keeping God, He is the covenant fulfilling God. It is evident from the seven covenant days of latter glory 2022, that God established the covenant focus for our guidance through the year 2023.However, the expected fulfilment is a product of Supernatural manifestations as declared by the wisdom of God for us for 2023. Therefore, every expected manifestation must be activated and consciously provoked.
What then is the Holy Spirit saying regarding January 2023?
We must strategically position ourselves to receive God’s message for our personal manifestations. “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved” Hab2:1. in other words, watching to receive personal information from the Lord because access to divine secrets is granted only at particular times, according to the will of God. “As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;” Job29:4. So, everyone who wants to know what God is about to do must retire and give themselves to meditation and prayer, waiting upon God to hear what he would say to them in order to secure their manifestations.
HOW THEN DO WE STAND?
- BY TAKING A STRATEGIC POSITION. “And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights”. Isaiah21:9. Our position is to show an attitude of expectation patiently waiting and watching for God’s response. “I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.” Ps85:8. Until you stand in expectation, you may not hear what is required for your manifestation.
- BY FASTING. “And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,” Acts 10:30. Fasting is a spiritual device that empowers you for supernatural encounter’s that provokes manifestations.
- BY PRAYER. “On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth…….:” Acts10:9-16. Prayer opens you up to divine revelations and affords you the privilege of heavenly voices that enforces divine manifestations.
- BY WATCHING. “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved” Hab2:1. watching constantly positions you to receive divine information granted at specific times according to the will of God. In watching, you are required to be awake and alert. “In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings.”2Cor6:5 . it involves wakefulness often deprived of ordinary rest, because divine visitations come as a thief. “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame”. Rev16:15. You are blessed and better of watching.
- BY READING /STUDING THE WORD AND MEDITATIONS. “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts20:32. The word helps you to develop spiritual stamina that is required for your manifestation. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”. Jos1:8. The possibility of your successful manifestation is rooted in the continuous study and meditation of God’s word. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”2Tim2:15. It takes diligent study to present yourself distinguished through trials without shame of approval.
- BY THANKSGIVING.” Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;” Col4:2 You are to continue in prayer, always on your guard and being always grateful to God, who affords you such abundant opportunities to glorify Him.
- BY WORSHIP AND PRAISE. “But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him”.2Kings3:15. Worship and songs to God’s glory provokes divine inspiration and revelation.
Therefore, we shall embark on 21Days standing upon the watch, praying and fasting for supernatural manifestations commencing from Monday 9th to Sunday 29th January 2023.

- I PROPHESY, in the name of Jesus, this month, you shall see the glory of God in your life!
- I DECLARE, in the name of Jesus, this month, you shall hear the voice of God!
- I DECREE, in the name of Jesus, this month, you shall testify!
- I THANK YOU JESUS because it is done!
