We thank the Lord for receiving our thanks and appreciation, We are grateful in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, it is a beautiful thing to give God praise. Everyone who lives in praise carries authority with him because he has the backing of heaven. David, the man after God’s heart, became God’s darling by praise. God’s heart was always with him“And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.”2sam6:14 David, danced before the Lord; as a manifestation of joy in God and gratitude for his mercies and faithfulness. He exhibited an exceeding show of dance in praise to God in appreciation for what He has done and for who He is. David’s Dance was an act of extravagant devotion to express his thankfulness to God. Until you give God what is due unto Him, don’t expect what is due to you.” I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so, shall I be saved from mine enemies.” Ps 18:3. Praise is due to Him and deliverance is due to you. Give Him praise.
WHY PRAISE? Praise pleases Godand it is commanded.” I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.” Ps69:30-31. When God is pleased with praise, He comes down in person. Praise compels His presence. When you magnify Him, He magnifies your destiny. When you praise Him, He raises you. When God is pleased, anything can happen.” Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp” Ps149:3
WHAT IS PRAISE FOR? Praise isto acknowledge and appreciate Him. “Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.” Isaiah42:12. Every act and favour of God needs to be appreciated and acknowledged because He will not share His glory. “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” Isaiah42:8. Always acknowledge that He is the doer of all things by the expression of your praise to Him.
WHO IS TO PRAISE GOD? All creation is to praise and worship the Lord. “Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. ……. Ps148:1-14. Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD”. Ps150:6. It is clear from scriptures that all the order of nature is bound to this duty of praise, and much more God’s children, who ought never to cease to praise him.
HOW DO YOU PRAISE GOD? You praise Him among many other ways in songs, thanksgiving, dance and instruments. “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Ps100:4. You enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His presence with singing and praises, not with protests and complaints. Be praise full unto Him and you will carry His presence. “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.” Ps149:3-4. When we praise Him in the dance, our beauty emerges. “Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises” Ps47:6
WHERE DO YOU PRAISE GOD? in whatever place is dedicated to his service and in your hearts.” Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints” Ps149:1. Praise God everywhere possible.
“Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.” Ps150:1
BENEFITS OF PRAISE? Divine blessings among other benefits. “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.” Ps67:3-7. Praise is designed to profit those who comply with it. When you engage in ceaseless praises, you position yourself permanently for God’s blessings.
RESULTS FOR NOT PRAISING? No Blessing, No future. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore, shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. Duet.28:47-48. Struggles, lack and destruction becomes inevitable. “If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.” Mal2:2. When you refuse to praise Him, you compel Him to stop blessing you and any life that is not blessed is cursed. When you refuse to praise Him, He substitutes you even with a stone. “And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” Luke19:40. You shall not live a cursed life, neither shall you be a substitute in the name of Jesus. Therefore, our Prophetic focus for DECEMBER 2022 is “EXTRAVAGANT PRAISE”.2Sam6:14

- Lord, I worship and praise your name for satisfying my mouth with good things and for renewing my strength in the name of Jesus.Ps103:5
- Lord, I exalt your name for destroying the yokes of emptiness and perpetual desolation of wickedness in my life in the name of Jesus.Ps74:3
- Lord, I give you all the praise because you delivered me and reversed the word of emptiness spoken into my life by the wicked one because you are with me in the name of Jesus.Isaiah8:10
